The ideal candidate for Growth Strategist is a highly motivated marketing generalist with both sales and marketing savvy and an entrepreneurial mindset. Someone who knows how to nurture and grow a client relationship and has significant experience being “in the room” helping clients work through a variety of challenging problems. Someone who does not shy away from networking opportunities and is energized by connecting with people and learning about their businesses. Someone who values quality, collaboration, and ego-free communication over quantity and competition.
What you can expect to do:
Identify leads that are a good fit for Differential
Devise, execute, and measure multiple marketing strategies for nurturing those leads and forming authentic relationships (from lead to a high-value customer)
Meet with and qualify prospects to help uncover valuable problems to solve and great people to work with
Communicate the Differential story directly, with confidence and persuasion
Offer outstanding service and help make the first step easy for prospects, giving us an opportunity to prove our value
Identify mediums and messaging that have impact on - and offer value to - Differential’s target audience
Help recruit, lead, train, and manage Sales Development Reps to assist in lead-generation efforts
Grow as a marketer and leader on a fun, entrepreneurial, growth-minded team
What we’re after:
Passion for the growth/business development process
5-7 years of experience working closely with clients in middle-market or larger companies across multiple categories
Significant client-facing experience (i.e. you have been part of the discussion and "in the room" helping clients solve a variety of problems)
Strategic thinker & communicator (written and oral)
Relational skills & analytical skills
Digital experience and savvy is a big plus

This is a full-time position. Candidates must be based in Cincinnati, OH, and be available for meetings during standard business hours for both clients and the team. There is flexibility in working hours, but there is also an expectation to be able to regularly attend relevant client and team meetings.
